Hare Krishna Dear Devotees!

We would like to invite all of you to Celebrate Sri Govardhan Puja on Monday Nov 9th in Plymouth.

Celebrate This Divine Festival of Govardhan Puja with ISKCON New Mahavan!

Join us for a beautiful evening of Kirtan, Cultural Program, spiritual wisdom, and a traditional vegetarian feast.

According to Vedic tradition, Govardhan Puja commemorates the wonderful pastime of Lord Sri Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill on His little finger to protect the residents of Vrindavan from torrential rains sent by Indra, the king of heaven. Through this divine pastime, Lord teaches us the importance of humility, gratitude, and taking shelter in the Supreme Lord.

On this auspicious occasion, devotees worship Govardhan Hill as a manifestation of Lord Krishna and offer Chappan Bhoga (56 varieties of food preparations) as an expression of love and gratitude.

Come celebrate with us and enjoy an evening featuring:

• Devotional Kirtan – Experience the joy of chanting the holy names of the Lord.

• Hear the beautiful pastimes of Lord Krishna.

• Chappan Bhoga offerings – participate in the offering of 56 varieties of delicious preparations to the Lord.

• Govardhan Parikrama – Participate in a symbolic circumambulation of Govardhan Hill.

• Prasadam – Enjoy a delicious vegetarian feast sanctified by offering to the Lord.
